The Hooded Crow is a very common crow in Cyprus, found at all altitudes and closely related to human presence. Absent only in the forests, but present around villages in the forest. It is a resident breeder, considered by many as a pest and actually allowed to be hunted though its meat is inedible, as a control of its numbers. The Hooded Crow is a very common crow in Cyprus, found at all altitudes and closely related to human presence. Absent only in the forests, but present around villages in the forest. It is a resident breeder, considered by many as a pest and actually allowed to be hunted though its meat is inedible, as a control of its numbers. Nevertheless a very successful bird, even in the most urban areas. 
Greenshank. Tringa nebularia . Πρασινοσκέλης, Στακτονεραλλίδα.
The Greenshank (Tringa nebularia) is mainly a spring passage migrant through Cyprus, less in autumn. Rare in winter though there are records for every month.
Sandwich Tern. Thalasseus sandvicensis. Χειμωνογλάρονο.
